How to Apply

Follow these steps below:

Eligibility:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must disclose yourself as a person with a disability
  • Must provide disability documentation
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED 

Application Guide:

  1. Fill out the application online or download the documents below.
  2. Sign the separate Media and Information Release form and the Liability form and attach it to the application.
  3. Attach your documentation of disability to the application.

Curriculum

Phase Modules Description
Phase 1
Skill Development and Training
Participants will gain skills in customer service, workplace communication and teamwork, professional etiquette, time management, problem-solving, and stress management techniques.
Phase 2
Self-Care, Empowerment, and Resilience
Participants will gain skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, resilience, and self-regulation to support their personal and professional growth.
Phase 3
Professional Readiness Track
Participants will gain skills in communication, business engagement and research, career exploration specific to the CNMI, and financial literacy.
Phase 4
Digital Literacy & Technology Track
Participants will develop advanced computer, productivity, and digital communication skills for work and school success.
Phase 5
Practical Experience & Work Readiness
Participants will gain hands-on work experience, mentorship, and professional networking opportunities.
Phase 6
Access and Accommodation
Participants will learn job readiness, entrepreneurship, financial skills, interview preparation, self-advocacy, and career development strategies.
Phase 6.1
Employer & Parent Training and Accessibility Support AAC
Stakeholders will gain training in disability rights and sensitivity, disability awareness, effective communication and support strategies, social security benefits, workplace accessibility and reasonable accommodations, assistive technology training, and so much more.
Phase 7
Recognition & Job Placement Support / Program Completion
Participants will finalize career plans, practice job readiness skills, and connect with employers through reverse job fairs and career expos while receiving ongoing mentorship and program recognition.
Closeout
CNMI Tech PIECS Employment Conference and UCEDD Summit 2026.
Participants will receive guidance and on the job training as they transition into their careers.
July
Check-ins with Participants and End of Cohort
Participants will showcase their program experience and provide feedback through evaluations and assessments.

Training Schedule

Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:00 – 11:30 am.
March – April training will take place from 4:00 – 6:30 pm.
